Girly Girls and Fishing

If there's the one thing I thought wouldn't take place, it really is I would learn to really enjoy fishing. I've enjoyed nature; however I am also really feminine. I do not like bugs. I really don't like getting dirty. I don't like camping and I dislike getting out of bed early in the day time. Nevertheless once I married my spouse, he persuaded me to take a fishing excursion along with him and I have never felt the same since then.

We took a vacation to a lake near our home. We drove up the day before and camped out that night. It had been the first time we'd gone camping just the two of us as a couple and I also should express, it had been more fun than I considered. There's something about being outside in Mother Nature merely the both of you. The pests did not bother us an excessive amount and I understood if something intimidating came about I'd my big strong man there to defend me. We developed a fire and cooked a basic, still fine supper. We built s’mores and also snuggled beneath the stars. Naturally I had a tiny change of heart that night related to camping, assuming that it's not for extended time periods.

That morning we woke up very early (which was not super exciting for me) and went the short distance to the lakeside. When I observed sunshine rise over the water, I had absolutely no regrets about my lack of sleep. It was completely stunning. The lake was so calm and so silent. My hubby baited my cheap rod that I acquired for the getaway and baited his nice Sage One Rod. Then he showed me the best way to toss the line to the water. I finally kind of got the hang of it and then we waited. We patiently waited for a time, observed the sunrise and appreciated being there with each other. After some time the silence was broken with a splash of water and a tug on my line. I let out just a little excited shout and started to pull! My hubby helped me pull along with me. Soon we reeled in a trout! He was not huge, nevertheless I did not mind. He was simply the right size if you ask me. We brought him over the side of the lake and unhitched him. He was in fact fabulous! We were so very proud! I did get a little wet, however I did not even mind!

We carried on fishing for a couple of hours and we each ensnared 2 more fish. We left with 5 fish to go home and actually eat! After that vacation, I was simply addicted. I instructed my husband I wanted a much better fishing rod. I had been jealous of his. That Christmas time he ordered me one of those Sage One Rods which he uses and I adore it. We now take a several fishing trips per year. They're not only wonderful bonding experiences for us, but we obtain brilliant fresh meals out of it as well!
